FAQ’s

  • Do you have a waiting list if there are no spots for a week? Yes, go to our registration tab and click on the waiting list link. 
    HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO GO TO CAMP? 
  • Camp is for children entering K5 through 8th grade. Campers must be 5 years old by September 1st, 2017. 
  • WHAT ARE THE HOURS OF CAMP? 
    • Regular camp hours are 9:00-4:00. Campers can come as early as 8:45 and leave as late as 4:15. Our early care starts at 7:15 and our late care ends at 5:45. 
  • WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY? 
    • You may cancel a week and get a full refund/no charge as long as you cancel by the Wednesday prior to the week in which you’ve registered. We hire staff based on the numbers we have for each week so we are unable to give a refund if you cancel after the Wednesday prior to that week. In order to cancel a week that was previously reserved but not yet paid, sign in to your account and change the weekly registration to “none”. Make sure to completely finish the order until the order is complete. If you have already paid for a week, we can refund or transfer it to another week. Email the cancelation to cssfinances@smic.org by Wednesday as we will charge cards on Thursday morning. There are no refunds for early/late show tickets.
  • HOW DO PAYMENTS WORK AND WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
    • We accept cash or Visa and Master Card. To review your order/payment, log in to your account on https://campstraightstreetregistration.com and click on “account”- you can then review your order details, cancel by dates, print a receipt, etc. Payments are drafted from your account on the Thursday before the weeks you plan to attend. You can cancel by the Wednesday before week for which you registered. 
  • IS THERE A DISCOUNT FOR REGISTERING MULTIPLE CHILDREN? 
    • There is not a discount for registering multiple children. We try to make camp as affordable as possible so we’ve made each week as inexpensive as we can without sacrificing a good staff and quality program. 
  • MAY I PAY FOR MEAL PLANS THE DAY OF? 
    • Yes. You may either come to the front desk to pay or sign in to your account on the registration website and pay there. 
  • IF YOU SIGN UP FOR A WEEK OF SNACKS AND LUNCHES AND DO NOT USE THEM ALL, DO THEY CARRY OVER TO THE NEXT WEEK? 
    • No, the food plans do not carry over to future weeks. It is by week like the camp fee is by week. If you want to bring lunch some during the week, we have the option for daily rates on snacks and lunches instead of the weekly rates. That way, you do not have to fully commit to a week’s lunches and snacks at camp. 
  • I’M NOT SURE ABOUT THE DATES YET. CAN I JUST SEND YOU THE REGISTRATION FEE TO COVER THEIR SPOT? 
    • You may register your child and pay the registration fee now and add weeks later on. Just know that only paying for a certain week or signing up for that week via EFT will hold their spot for that week
  • DOES A CAMPER HAVE TO COME FOR THE FULL WEEK OR CAN YOU COME INDIVIDUAL DAYS? 
    • You may come individual days or for the entire week. Camp is $40 per day. You do not need to designate which day it will be. We keep up with your choice of day on the attendance record. 
  • DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE LUNCH AND SNACK AT CAMP OR MAY I BRING MY OWN LUNCH OR SNACK? 
    • You may bring your lunch and snack or buy it. Either way.
